Honorary Lifetime Award

Once a year, CADA recognizes a person outside of the membership who goes above and beyond in making sure that CADA’s programs continue to prosper and that we succeed in accomplishing our goals.

2008 CADA Honorary Lifetime Award Recipients:

Feet First Eventertainment and Sandy Ginger (Area H):

Feet First Eventertainment begain their association with CADA in 1991, and made the 1992 dinner dance something to remember. Since then, they have become a fixture at school dances throughout California, and have grown a successful corporate events program, contracting with Universal Studios to use their back lot for corporate movies and events. They have created a lexicon all their own, trademarking the word "Eventertainment", and coining such household phrases as "Dancing: It's like standing only faster" and "What if the Hokey Pokey really is what it's all about?" These guys put the fun in dysfunctional.

Sandy Ginger has been the coordinator of student activities for Clark County in Las Vegas for 9 years. She has been executive director of the Nevada Association of Student Councils since 1993. She has presented at CADA for the last 9 years. She won the Region 7 Warren Shull Award in 2000, and received the National Earl Reum Award in December of last year. She hosted the 2004 NASC conference. Sandy has become an honorary Californian in the CADA circles.
