2027 CASL STATE CONFERENCE
The California Association of Student Leaders was developed as a CADA board project to provide a forum for student expression. Since 1996, CASL has been governed by a regionally elected student board of 14 directors and assistant directors, and 3 elected officers, under the sponsorship of CADA with guidance from an adult advisory board.
The CASL State Conference is truly an incredible experience for your student leaders, and we thank you for investing in leadership training and providing this generation with an opportunity to become the best student leaders possible.

Attendee Registration
CASL Conference Prices
Each delegate will be roomed in a hotel room based on the rooming list you will submit after registering. Attendee pricing is based on how many delegates you room in a room.

*By registering for the early rate, you understand there are no refunds/exceptions. If you want the option to cancel and get a refund, delegates should register at the regular or late rate.
Registration is intended for schools to register as a delegate and not for individual students to register. Each school must be a CADA member to register unless coming from out of California.
Early Arrival: If your school plans to arrive a day early for the CASL Conference, please note that there will be an additional cost for the extra night’s stay. The price for the hotel room is $350 per night, per room. This rate is specifically negotiated for conference attendees and is subject to availability. Space is limited.

CASL Conference Policies
Please take a moment to review all the CASL Conference Policies for important information about the CASL Conference.
Check Payment Deadlines: All check payments must be mailed no later than March 27, 2027, to ensure payment is received before the event.
Payment Types: We accept payment in the form of a check (made payable to CADA) or credit card (VISA, MasterCard, Discover, or American Express). We DO NOT accept Purchase Orders.
Cancellations: Refunds may be given no later than March 16, 2027. There are no refunds for anyone who registered at the early rate. There will be a $50 administrative fee per person deducted from your refund. To cancel your registration, complete the cancellation request form.
If you need to cancel individual delegates, please email info@cada1.org with the details of whom to cancel.
All attendees must cancel their registration regardless of whether payment has been submitted OR NOT – if you fail to cancel your registration, you will be required to pay for your conference registration.
Substitutions: All substitutions must be received by March 31, 2027. Please have the new attendee complete the Medical Release/Registration form and then email info@cada1.org with the details of whom to cancel.
Payment Policy: All funds must be received before the event start date. POs are not accepted. Please note credit card transactions will show up as CADA or California Association of Directors of Activities – not CASL.

Lodging/Transportation
The 2027 CASL Conference will be held at the Santa Clara Hyatt and Convention Center. Lodging will be held at the Santa Clara Hyatt, and should an additional hotel be needed, we will add it at a later date. All registrants will be notified before the event of their lodging location. Registration price includes a hotel room for two nights.

Transportation:
The closest airport is the San Jose Airport, which is a 15-20 minute drive from the hotel/convention center. There will be shuttles running from 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM on arrival and departure days for an additional $10/attendee. (This does not include early arrivals.)
Parking:
Self-Parking is $40 a night at the Hyatt.
